Forget the "extra" battery for FlashTrax... GREAT device but HORRIBLE batter life.... 2.5 full 1GB mocrodrive transfers and a full battery is toast.
External battery is the way to go. You can make an external battery holder got it for less than $10 in parts from Radio Shack that uses 4 D cells. With some hefty 7Ah NiMH D cells you can power it for hours.
