I think the next set I do, I'm going to go with Matte finish.
I had a 8x12 printed at Costco, and it looked great, once it was in an insert in the binder, (20 page small ring presentation binder from Staples, about 6 bucks) it looked glossy anyway. The local Costco here does a great job with prints, 8x12 $1.99, 12x18 $2.99, the color is as good or better than my prints and probably cheaper than my costs. 1 hour pick-up.
