Over the weekend I was looking through some issues of Rangefinder that I haven't had a chance to examine the past few months. In one of the issues the photographer was talking about making 10' flats with muslin fixed to them that they paint to look like walls. I really love the rich looking images he was producing and I would love to give this a try, but I don't really know where to begin.
Has anyone constructed flats with muslin covering to use as walls in photographic sets? How do you affix the muslin to the frame so it actually looks like a wall and not a painted muslin background?
Thanks for any assistance.
