The Apacer is the way to go..IMHO of course. It's never let me down, and unless you break them, CD's are always a stable metheod to store data. It's a well made unit and what's also very nice is the "Disk Span" feature. If you're using large CF cards, and all your images won't fit on one CD, it will seamlessly copy your data to a 2nd CD when the 1st is full, it tells you to put in a new blank disk...very very cool! I would also recommend a second battery!
