Don,t know much about the Canon printer but to my point of view and worth considering is the Epson R800 you can not only proof but you can print exeptional photo quality prints with it,A4 Max size with Epson inks and paper
claimed archival qualities of up to 80 yrs.
Since owning this printer and offering prints for sale their has been very little knockbacks.
If you are setting up I may be wiser to only spend your money once and at least you have total control of your work.
