The only complaint I have about Pocket Wizards is the form factor -- they're vertical, not horizontal. I find that when I use otehr people's Pocket Wizards, they get in the way. If you've never used a set, use somenoe else's or rent a set so that you get a feel for it.
I use the Quantum in my studio -- they've been great. I did get to see the Calumets and I like them very much! Haven't used them, but all of the major brands of transmitters should work just fine. It's the off brands with poor quality control that you should stay away from.
