Just a note. I was on Amazon tonight and noticed they were selling the Hitachi 4 gig Microdrive which is a CF Type II card for any of the digital cameras that use CF types 1 or 2 (it also comes with an adapter for plugging in directly intoyour laptop PCMIA slot). They had it for $219 and there is a $50 mail in rebate offer. Such a card gives me about 400-500 RAW images with my Canon 20D which is probably not unreasonable for a days shoot. I've been to 3 or 4 of Rolando's workshops and I seem to end up shooting 200-300 shots per day. I always take a laptop, but I have also used the little battery operated hard drives with a CF slot (about $199 for a 20 gig model) and I usually got 4 to 6 hours on one. It takes about 20 minutes to download a 1 gig card to the drive.
Hope this information is of some help.

Cheers,
rfs
