Ken,

Hi. Thanks for your reply. On photos in any given day, I'm sure you'll shoot more than 80, but to really answer that, I'd have to know your shooting skills and how you work. The models will be one per two photographers at minimum, this also allows folks to assist each other, assisting is important too, but we'll be shooting like you said, primarily from sun-up to sun-down.

As far as electricity goes, barring any late hurricanes, the island is all 110V. I'll have a EZ DigiMagic CD burner with me, but you can only fit so much on a CD, and I highly recommend you make multiple CD's to ensure there are no glitches or bring a laptop to verify the results. I should have my laptop with me too. I'll have batteries too. Our island sponsor has an invertor in his vehicle that I used last time to charge our Dyna-Lite battery packs, which we'll have about ten with us there.

Right now, based on my last trip there in July, we have three days where electricty on location should not be a problem, believe it or not, even at the location where the caves are--the same place the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders shot their 2002 calendar. There is one day, when we go by boat, that there is no electricity there, but we'll have battery power. I'm not sure how far the boat would be from the invertor to make a run back, but I'm sure there will be at least one run back for something. Worse case on that one day, I'll have my battery powered CD-burner. It runs off AA batteries, invertors, it's own 12V car adapter and 110v.

I think you'll find out that with such a small/medium group of photographers we'll have ease to helping everyone out, one way or the other. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Talk soon, thanks, rg
