I use the Canon 24-70L glass in my Studio on my (now gone) 10D and currently my 1D Mk II and it preforms great. I'm sure some Primes would perform better, but at this point I do not want to be a Glass collector.
I have the Canon 15mm fisheye, 24-70L, 70-200L IS and the 1.4x II.
