Why yes it is [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] I've shot with it and I'm jealous of anyone who owns one. It's truly an awesome lens. However, Tyler asked about going with the "IS" or the "L" series. I was referencing to the non "L" IS lenses as not being of equal image quality to the "L" series. Also, on the most part, I would think the 24-70 2.8L would be better in a studio unless you're fortunate to have enough room in your studio to shoot with a 70-200. Even then, I'm not sure why you'd want to be that far from your model when shooting, especially full length shots.
