like yourself, i too am not able to jump into a mac system, it's just not feasible at this time.
i've been using the matrox millennium g400 dual head max agp for just over two years now, 32mb on-board. prior to that i used their mystique board for over 3 years till my clone became obsolete for my purposes.
i’ve never experienced incompatibility issues with either board, and have been perfectly happy with them. no, I do not work for matrox [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img].
i’ve recently been thinking of putting together a new clone system and this time around i’m considering nvidia’s gforce4 ti series, with 128mb on-board. i’ve heard nothing but good things about that card.
don't purchase a product based on a couple of testimonials though. do a little research, then follow your instincts.
