and have been very happy with it. I went from a D1 where I had to always adjust the color to now where things look about perfect right from the camera. Now I'll just adjust levels, but don't have to deal with color balance. You should read dpreview.com there are many comparisons between the cameras. I do miss the vertical grip, but am getting used to being without it. I have been able to sync witha pc cord higher than 1/125. I believe 1/180 worked fine.
