1) Faster flash sync speed. 1/180 on the D-100 and 1/125 on the F2. If you shoot outside alot it will make a differance.
2) The D-100 will work well with the SB80DX flash, and it works in all modes.
The F2 will only work in some modes. The auto fill matrix metering is my fav.
I shoot large, 2 photographer weddings. The other photographer I work with uses the F2. The big differance is his ability to use a flash outside. We do all the images in color. He uses the pc outlet to plug in for his 2nd light I use the pc outlet on the flash. He carries 8 extra batteries in his pocket, I carry the spare battery for the D-100 and 4 rechargable AA for the flash.
We have found little differance. I have picked up the F2 to look through but have never shot an image with it.
