Correct exposure is correct exposure. It's a photographic urban legend that dark skin requires some sort of special technique. Unfortunately I no longer have the image, but while I was teaching photography, I shot a chrome of a very dark lady (pure mahogany skin!) standing net to a very fair blonde. Exposure was with an incident meter with everything else being standard. Both were captured perfectly. This comes up so often that maybe I should reshoot that image.
