I have both, rarely use the N80. The F100 AF is much faster, which I find the main drawback of the N80. No sync socket on N80, but you can buy a $15 adapter for hotshoe. F100 is built way better, but neither camera will drive nails or survive being run over by a truck. F100 uses cheaper AA bats, which you always have. N80 uses lithium something or other. F100 has a better feel, almost as good as F5.
Pictures from each look exactly the same.
$600 buys a lot of film. Unless you are rich, this is a consideration.
I'd buy the N80 and wear it out.
