the 500 bucks is well worth it....the one thing I have learned since I started trying to make a go at photography as an income is that if I have to sort of bubble gum something together to get the results I want, I am better off spending the little bit extra to get the equipment that will do the job correctly rather than fight with gear that won't on its own.
