any comments on Minolta's line of Dimage vs. Nikon's Coolscan scanners?
Also, do you really need a scanner that has a resolution of 5400 x 5400 (such as Dimage Elite 5400)?
For preservation purposes, I want to digitize my old film stock. Maximum print size from the digital files would be 11 x 14 with majority being 8 x 10.
