While I don't own the printer yet I have been looking at buying one and have done a lot of research on it. 2200's are notorious for having pronblems similar to what you describe when printing on glossy stock. If it's what I'm thinking of it's often refered to as bronzing. Try printing onto any other type of stock and see if the problem goes away. Might save you a lot of ink.
