I used to have a Wein Infrared remote system & it worked well - I eventually traded it in for the PocketWizards- which seem to work better since you don't have to worry about anything blocking the path of the infrared beam. Calumet now makes a system called the Litelink that's cheaper than the PocketWizards, You may want to check it out. You might find it easier to use than the infrared type of remote.
