In many ways, asking which lights is like asking whether a Ford or a Chevrolet is best. A lot depends on what you like. But for what it's worth, if I had to replace my dearly beloved ancient Novatrons for use in home studio, I would more than likely go for either the 'Bees' or their uncle, White Lightnin'.
