Hi David,

I have the 70-200mm f2.8 EX APO Sigma and it has been the best piece of glass I've ever shot with, including my Nikkor lenses. I would not hesitate for a second to buy another one; that much is certain. More of a consideration now is just the size. The Sigma 70-200mm is a big lens. It's impressive to others who see me shooting with it (no, it's not compensation for other Freudian-type, um, shortcomings...) but if I can cut the size in half using an equal quality Tamron, it would give me room for another lens in my already overstuffed bag. Thanks for your input! Always great to have lots of input!

Good day and Happy Thanksgiving.

Mike
