I have used both cameras professionally and commercially, and while the S2 is a better overall camera than the E20, there are still benefits to the E20.

Why keep two digitals? Because professionals need backup, and until such time comes that I invest in another S2 AND more lenses (gotta have backup), the E20 gives me the benefit of a very capable camera WITH a fixed lens of 35-140mm 2.0 that takes care of a lot of my needs. It also is one of the only digitals with a noise reduction mode that actually duplicates the images you just took (in camera), and eliminates any pixels that do not match up in both images (those being noise). Not a bad feature. The fixed lens also eliminates dust issues on the CCD and has a macro mode at 8".

The E20 has taken care of ALL of my commercial needs for close to a year, but that's MY needs. It's not for sports photographers or fast shooters. yes it's slow with a 4 shot buffer, but like any camera, you deal with the cons to get the pros.

Just curious if you ever have used an E10 or E20 personally?
