I have shot into a room through the doorway of another room. I even stood on a back porch and shot through open sliding glass doors. My lights would barely fit inside.

Just tossing out some ideas so you don't have to spend your time at the darned computer (like we all do.. me included).

By the way, the background in the example I did was a complete re-work of the background... to time consuming, but as I say, I had no option in this case.
Thanks Ben, you are right I could back out onto my patio. I will give that some thought.

As far as the Ctrl - J I am familiar with that but do I need to indicate (via the Lasso or some other tool) what I want to turn into a Layer? From doing Layers on other photos I think I have to tell PhotoShop what I want to turn into a Layer. Can you confirm this for me. Thanks.

I just 15 minutes ago finished a shoot with a Model/Actress and she and I have been trying to get together for months and we finally did it today and my preliminary look at the images indicates we did a good job. This woman is at the top of her game and has the training and credentials to prove it. When she poses she becomes the pose.

Mostly what we shot were tight (and I mean TIGHT) headshots for her book so th background shouldn't be as much of a problem. I am waiting to hear back from her as to which images she wants and then I will start working on them.

Thanks again.

Regards
