Thanks for your input, it is much appreciated. A lot of times I know what I want but getting it done in PhotoShop is another thing altogether.

I agree with both of you that the background could be better and Ben that red background really "pops" I am going out looking for one this weekend.

Steve and Ben, I live in a small condo (1,000 sq ft; not that small but small enough) and as such my space is limited. I am thinking to blur the background I would do it with perhaps a Layer Mask and a Gaussian Blur? Am I ontrack here or am I totally off?
