Hey guys,
Here's another portrait I shot a few days ago. Not large format like the last one, though (I shot a few LF, but wasn't as happy with how those turned out)...
Here's the stats: Contax 645, 120mm lens, f4.0 @ 1/30, on Tri-X film (rated at 100 and pulled one stop). Light was one hotlight with a shoot-through umbrella. It was scanned from the contact sheet, dust spots left, and motion blur added to soften it up a bit. I know, sounds totally weird, but I added the motion blur. I'm experimenting with the fact that images of other people's work I've seen who had motion blur in them actually looked kinda cool, so I wanted to try it out for myself. That's why I used a hotlight and a slow (for handheld) shutter speed. Her eyes still turned out sharp (I know, tragic!

), which is why I added the blur in later.
Check out this guy's work and you'll see why I wanted to try this out...

Anyways, lemme know what you think, or if it just looks like a mistake, or what, lol. Thanks!
