Here is an old Plymouth (I think)... I would guess 1947. Plymouths, Dodges, and Chryslers were never popular with kids back then.. they were "old folks" cars. Could probably fill 'er up with gas for about $5.

Great photo of the service station. The light in the billowing clouds verses the stark landscape brings back memories of my youth. I was reminising with my brothers and Dad just this past weekend. As a kid going to work with him, how gas was $.06 a gallon when the family owned a string of DX stations through the mid west. Times a sure different, but you know what. A excellent photo is still in vogue. Nice work!
