I had plans to do some yard work this past weekend when my significant other announced on Friday that we are going to the Tulip Festival in Holland Michigan. Seems like I didn't need any persuasion to drive two and a half hours to Holland, MI. I have been there before for my nephew's wedding and I really like the place. The inhabitants of the city are descendants of Dutch immigrants keeping up with old country traditions. Besides visiting the tulip farm we made a stop at the the Wind Mill Park. Various kinds of festivities were going on with abundance of tulips everywhere. Had a great time and made my lady very happy at the same time. Hope you enjoy a small sample of images I attached.
