Now I like the headshots on the site you mentioned very much.
But somehow the all look alike.
I see a very shallow DOF here, neck stretched out towards the camera (as seen on the shot with the girl in a blue sweater). I'm not really sure about the lighting setup though - the light is soft, coming from slightly above to the left of the model. I think I see a gold reflector but I'm not really sure.
Can some more experienced photographer take a good guess about the ighting setup used here?

looks all ambient to me.. looks like a commercial garage studio with the gate up.
