My (2nd) cousin, Tracy, is an aspiring fashion designer. (Her Dad is my first cousin.) Tracy graduated from college a few years ago with a bachelor's degree in fashion design and she now works for a California clothing manufacturer as their in-house designer. But she wants to market her own designs. So, we put together a little shoot for her portfolio.
Everyone--the models, the MUA, the hair stylist, and others--donated their time to this. Here's a sampling of Tracy's clothing that she designed and built. Models are Faye (the red head) and Bree. MUA was Jennifer, Stylist Tracy, Hair Heather, Shauna, Kyle, and Leesa assisted. (My g/f, Leesa, also shot quite a few but these images are from ones I shot.) It was a bit crazy as we started late in the day and only had a few hours to shoot. Plus, I had to deal with a security guard at the local train station where we shot. Then, a local sheriff's deputy wanted to see our permit. Fortunately, I convinced the deputy it wasn't a "commercial" shoot--that it was sort of a student project--and we didn't need a permit. Whew!
Anyway, we decided to take more of a catalogue approach to the shots. Here's a sampling. There were a few other outfits but Leesa shot those.
