Hi colleagues,

I have a problem with another G1 member and am looking for some suggestions as to potential ways to resolve it. My guess is that I need to chalk it up to experience but if anyone has any ideas I will appreciate them. Here is the short version of the problem:

Back in April I posted about printers and two of our fellow members offered to print some samples on their printers before I invested money in new equipment. I sent $20 to both members to cover materials and shipping (which was all that was requested). One of those members (Doc Smith) did some stellar prints for me on his Epson 2400 and I really appreciate Doc's efforts. The other member (who shall remain nameless at this point) never sent me any prints. I followed up in June and was told the prints had gone out quite a bit earlier but that the member would follow up with UPS and get back to me. I never heard back, never got my prints and the member (who still is active on this site) stopped replying to my e-mails - the last of which simply asked for my money back. Now, in the grand scheme of things, $20 is not that big a deal but I simply hate to get ripped off. I have not "outed" the member (yet) but if anyone has any suggestions besides contacting Rolando, please let me know.

regards
