Almost all of my work is trade with the models. It isn't 'free' , both model and phtographer bring something to the shoot. Time, equipment , wardrobe, the model's look are all contributions.
I do go to workshops and occasionally pay for a specific look, and photography is my hobby now, not my source of income any longer.
