Gotta go with the 17-40L or 16-35L, depending on your budget.

Of course, I am coming from a crop camera...so maybe that's why, but I like having a wide zoom for my main lens. I use it more than my Tamron 28-75 2.8.

It's hard to fault the 24-70....but since you already have an 85 and a 70-200...I would say the best choice is one that covers more of the wide. You can have much more fun with it. You'll have a gap from 35/40 to 70....but the difference between 17mm and 24mm is huge if you as me.

Of course, for the price of the 16-35 2.8....you could buy the 17-40 f4 and a Tamron 28-75 2.8. The tam isn't quite up to the 24-70 2.8L...but it's 90% of the way there. (I have shot with both)
