In your oppinion, if I get the 24-105 F4 IS, will I still have a use for the 24-70 f/2.8? Or the difference between the F4 IS and F2.8 so small that I should just forget about the 24-70 f2.8? Also, do you think that 105 will be enough zoom for a full frame sensor camera, when I am not carrying any other glass with me?

It's just my personal preference, but if I can afford it, I rather buy the "name brand" equipment. In no way am I knoking sigma! I think that they make some awsome products, it's just that I would prefer to buy Canon.
