The USNO was my next stop! I worked for the Navy for 27 years and had a lot of interaction with them. I had gotten out my H.O. tables and sextant (I'm an avid sailor) and was going to work something out when I saw this ad - I didn't notice the price!

I want to take a picture of a sunrise and/or sunset from a bridge a few miles away from my home with railroad tracks underneath it running east-west straight to the horizon. There are tall trees on both sides of the tracks and I want the sun to be in the "notch" as it rises or sets. To do this I need to know the day it will be in the "notch" relative to the location of the bridge (azimuth of sun at rise/set). I'll let you know how it comes out.
