What Chip said!

The 60x60 softbox is useful for hairlighting, etc, but you need a bigger softlight for whole body shots - the 135cm octobox is excellent. I also use the 135x50 strip boxes (good for whole-body lighting, and good for whiting out the background).

I have a couple of 100FXs, and they are very good as accent lights (they work well in a snoot) - one of their best features is that they go down to 6Ws output. They cycle quickly, too.

If you could afford a bit more, however, the 300RX 2 Go kit would give you more power + the ability to accept the EL Skyport RX triggers. I'd favour the 300RX strobes over the 400FX/BX because of the greater control (6 f-stops)and the RX triggers.

Pity they don't make a 100RX, but I guess the computer control would make it uneconomic.

BTW: the stands in the umbrella kit are OK, but I chose not to get them - bought Manfrotto stands instead - NO regrets
