My CRT also recently failed. I purchased the Samsung SyncMaster 204b after doing quite a bit of research. I think that to get anything better, the price is going to be over $1000.00. I recently received the first images (from MPIX) that I post processed using this monitor. The prints match the images on the screen perfectly (at least to my eye).
