Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm more interested in quality instead of quantity. I could care less if I leave a workshop with 1 or 1000 images if that 1 image taught me something and the 999 were just me standing there clicking off images that I didn't learn anything from. As far as who the models are, also not my main concern since I am fortunate that my girlfriend of 6 years is a fitness/figure model, so I can come home and apply what I learned using her as my model.
My main interest is learning how to use strobes, light modifiers, light meters, how to decide light placement, how many lights to use, single light techniques, multiple light techniques, available light techniques, etc.
Up until this point I have only shot outdoors with available light, no flash, no reflectors. I am interested in expanding my capability before I invest in lighting.
