ahh... so the controller has nothing to do with firing the strobes. you still need a receiver for each strobe. ergo, if you're using the controller, as well as an xmitter plus receivers for, say, 4 strobes.... datz a lotta battareez! (probly two AAs for each receiver, one or two for the controller... and some other kind of battery for the xmitter.
