I've never heard of Italian style lighting, or french style lighting, etc. You usually hear about a person's name style of lighting. As far as I can tell, this shot could be made with two lights. I don't care for the lighting style because it casts a second shadow and that is distracting. The key light appears to be high and in front of the model and the other light off to the left side of the shot as viewed. It is course possible that there are two lights on the background also (one on each side) and that would give you the 4 lights.
