this sounds like actaully a different problem. It dosn't sound like it has to do with your graphics card, but monitor calibration. There are two ways to go about correcting this. The inexpensive way is to use the Adobe Gamma in your control panels, and follow the direction. The second is a bit more expensive, but more accurate, which is to go out and purchase something along the lines of a monitor calibrator like a Spyder which has suction cups that attach to your monitor and then you attach it to your computer via usb. It's easy to use, and of course there are more brands out there, I just recommended the one I have experience with. But as far as choosing a profile itself, that all depends on your output. Printer, things like that, and that either comes with the software that comes tih the printer or by trial and error. Personally, what I have done is calibrate my monitor using Adobe Gamma (I'm running Win XP) and then take it to a lab to have it printed, which has given me excellent results, plus it's on much better paper, and costs less.
