I am proposing "Double Daylight Savings Time" (or "DD" for short) to be implimented during these winter months (winter being a non sequiter here in South Beach). What makes sense to me is for the sun to come up at 8:30 (not 6:30!) and set around 8 PM, not a little before 6 PM during the winter months.

Come on! Doesn't it make more sense to be getting ready for a sunrise shoot at 7:30 in the morning instead of 5:30? And who wants the sun to set during rush hour? Phooey on that, I want that great late sun to be hitting the model around 6:30-7 and to catch the last shot just before coming back from the beach on Virginia Key well after rush hour is over.

I know, I know, the kiddies would have to go to school in the dark. So what? Don't we have an over population problem now? I mean really, let Darwin sort them out. I blame this foolishness of going off Daylight Savings Time instead of Doubling it on Republicans. Family values. What ever. Foolishness. So, as of today and for the rest of the winter, I have moved MY clocks to the Brazilian Time Zone (known world wide as Adriana Lima Time or ALT). Perfect. Should have thought of this sooner. Adriana and Gisele struttin' and pout'n for Victoria's Secret, now that's my idea of Family Values!

Catching the late evening sun on the beach in.......November!

I will explain the concept of coming back from shooting bikini babes at the beach during the winter in another post.
