I might get one when it reaches the current S3 price, but I'm not lining up for it by any means. Cmon who in their right mind releases the same sensor as a "new" camera.

I've said the same on other forums, this isn't a new camera its the S3 MkII or the D200-Portrait. You choose.

Unless Fuji has another waiting in the wings, I've bought my last S-series.
Acutally is the same SIZE in megapixels, not really the same sensor.. Fuji believes that image quality is more important than pixel count.

If you visit those digital camera forums, everyone was saying how they would kill to have the s3 sensor ( this one is better ) in a d200 body.. then fuji turns around does just that -with improvements- and now people are bitching LOL

Now, my deal is the price point.. they are known for pricing their cameras way higher, but also, the avg was higher... now that the avg price for a 10mp cam is $1k or less, i wonder how much more can they charge for this one... Im guessing $1800... Then again, the 5d is $3000+
