I do 90% of my glamour work with 2 lens on my 20D. I use the Sigma 70-200 2.8 for portrait and head and shoulders or even full length if I can get back far enough. For tighter spots I use the Sigma 18-125 3.5-5.6. Both lens give me nice sharp results. The Sigma 70-200 is rated by many reviewers at about equal to the equivalent L lens at 50% less in price.
