Hey y'all,

Okay, I'm looking at buying a new scanner. After I had my first scans from a professional lab who knew what they were doing, I can see that my little scanner at home just isn't cutting the mustard. I need something that'll give me really good quality scans from film. If it scans prints too that's great, but not necessary. It'd have to be able to scan up to medium format, but I'd like it to be able to scan up to 4x5 if possible (I don't have a 4x5, but I'm gonna get one someday!!!) Digital ICE would be nice, too, if possible. At this point price could vary all the way up to several thousand (probably couldn't do much more than $2,000-3,000). Sooooo.... Here's some I was looking at so far...

Microtek ArtixScan 120tf

And this one, possibly in my dreams...

Imacon 343 Drum Scanner

Any others out there I should know about?

Thanks for the help!

Sam
