That's how it was explained to me. I just got Nikon's 'The Speed of Light DVD, and hope there are some good tips on it.
That DVD is a waste of $30... It should have been included with every nikon DSLR for free. It is an excellent commercial for the flashes though.

I have two of the sb-800 flashes and love them.
