Posting an image is very easy. You just click on the little yellow icon above the box where you're typing the post, and you put in the URL of the photo. Of course you have to know the URL of the photo.

Aside: That is always a problem for some people and was on the old system. There were many posts on the old system asking how to post a photo. The best way, was always the URL method, but then many people didn't know how to get a photo loaded into some webspace somewhere.

That's just the way it worked on the old site, except it wasn't a little yellow icon, but instead a text link. The only problem is when the little yellow icon is not there. When a person signs up as a free member the system defaults the editor to one that does not show the icons (at least that's the way it seems to be right now). Since they should edit their basic options, anyway, that is just one of the choices they need to make, that they want the middle editor.

When the Open link under My Pics is officially working, then they can use that also, but may not want to since usually they'll get a bigger image from posting it from offline.

Cheers,
rfs
