I noticed when I used my 85mm lens I had to get quite a bit closer to my subject to fill the frame unlike the Canon 10D and 20D’s that I have been using for the last 3 years or so. Consequently I replaced the 85mm with the 100mm for portraits after the first session.

Is there is a difference in the body's magnification rate? What were you shooting before Ron?
I've drooled on a 5D, but haven't gotten any closer yet.
