That's correct, you have to determine, am I looking at a category or the member's portfolio. A category shows everyone in there starting with the person you chose, a person's gallery, shows all the images they have loaded, which are categorized accordingly, that also why you can place an image in up to three categories. It's up to the user, if I'm an editor looking for stock fashion images, I don't want to be stuck on one photographer, however, if one photographer catches my eye, then I want to see their entire portfolio.
