Hi Brad. I have a Canon 1D Mark 11 an dI love it. Very dependable, great Lenses, especially the L series. Even thought it is only 8.2 Megapixel, I have seen prints to 30x40 of excellent quality. I would love the 1DS how ever, I really can't see the extra expense since my needs don't require a 16 Megapixel camera. You might consider renting one for a vew days to make sure. However I am sure you will be happy.
