This is part of what I really like about Garage Glamour.
Two outstanding photographers from completely diverse sub sets of our American culture in a opinionated discussion of their
feelings about tattoo's in glamour photography and in general every day life as well.
Would I like to see tattoo's on a model? No, but if there's one there I have to deal with it in the best way possible to please the client. Being tattooed isn't for me, not that I haven't thought about it and I enjoy the sight of a tattoo that's been well crafted. So that puts me into another sub set.
I think that Joshua's original images have captured the beauty of both women with different styles of tattoos that compliments the sub set of the American culture that they're in.
I like the fact that both of you belong to the same sub set that I do; in that none of us like the tattoos that have no thought or purpose. "body grafatti" I belive was the term used, although I might have taken it out of context.
One sub set that we all belong to here at Garage Glamour is the one that includes civility and respect for diverse opinions no matter how meatheaded you think the other guy is. It's a good sub set to belong to.
